Sea freight is going up recently.
Most vessel companies announced pausing of vessels bound for the Red Sea/Gulf of Aden over the highly escalated security situation in the area in mid December.
The action causes rising of sea freight prices and lengthen the voyage period due to the peak season before Chinese new year and the security situation. The estimated January sea freight prices will rise to 3 times of December. It takes 1~2 weeks more for voyage of changing the line.
